5 out of 5 stars Doesn't shed   August 25, 2010
Sunny324 (Grand Rapids, MI USA)
I had to find a replacement for my old kabuki brush, which shed hairs from the first time I used it.
What a difference now that I have this Ecotools brush! The big fluffy head is perfect for applying my mineral foundation. And best of all - it hasn't shed a single hair. I wish I had saved my money and bought this one first.

I very rarely buy things online, I like to touch/ feel things I buy. I bought this brush after reading some helpful reviews. I absolutely love it. The brush is soft and bristles/ hair are strong and dont fall on my face. Its good to apply mineral make-up/ blush. For the price, its a great buy. i have seen expensive brushes at sephore etc, its honestly as good. The fact that its retractable is great and the mechanism is good so the bristles dont stick to the cap. love it!.

5 out of 5 stars so soft   June 7, 2010

I got this to replace my bare mineral brush. This one is so much softer, has a great coverage AND retracts so I can take it anywhere. I saw it for a little bit cheaper at Target but they were always out of stock so I ended up buying here and I'm very happy. Well worth it.

This kabuki is light and thick and very good for travelling. I once cleaned it and hair keeps in tact.
Buy it!!! You won't regret it.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent brush for the price!   April 5, 2010

I'd previously been using the Bare Escentuals Retractable Flawless Application Face Brush, which sells for $30. After something like five years, it finally became unusable. I really needed a replacement but didn't want to spend that much on a brush, so I decided to search for alternatives. I came across the Eco Tools retractable Kabuki Brush and after reading the positive reviews, decided to give it a try.

I am so glad I decided to try this brush because it is AWESOME. It performs even better than the Bare Escentuals brush, and costs $20 less. The bristles are soft, hold the powder, and apply it perfectly. I am so happy I found this brush. And an added bonus is that I can feel good that it is eco-friendly. I highly recommend this brush as an alternative to those of you who've been using the pricey BE tools.

**EDIT** 7/1/10

Last week the brush sort of fell apart. It came out of the base and no longer could retract. When it came out, I could see the ring of glue that was used it hold it on. Following the same ring, I coated it with a thin layer of superglue and carefully placed it back where it is supposed to be. So far, so good. It's back to proper functioning status.
